A couple of weeks ago I went to Glo Day Spa in Seminyak after seeing many photos and reviews on their fb and instagram pages. I was bitterly disappointed with my experience. Their social media pages state they are an award winning, indulgent spa, full of instagram worthy features and photo ops.. this wasn't the case at their Seminyak spa. It's run down, old/dark/dingy and NOTHING like their photos on socials. I can only assume the photos are from another salon, perhaps their Canggu spa? I wish I'd gone there.. First I had lash extensions. I wasn't expecting too much, as a lash getter in Australia I know the quality in Bali wouldn't be the same but for the price and the photos I'd seen I thought I'd give it a go. The overall look once finished was nice and I was happy with that. However, my lashes weren't washed beforehand and the glue was really clumpy and noticeable.. I think the amount of glue used was what made my eyes sting.. once finished I had the Olaplex treatment and a pedicure.
